King of the Wild Frontier by SharkeyTrike
King of the Wild Frontier
A rough'n'ready T-rex sketch that made me think of Adam and the Ants for some reason... Also went for the fluffy look.

SHARK FISHING by SharkeyTrike
SHARK FISHING
A young tyrannosaur snares a wobbegong shark, Restesia, in the Mangrove shallows of Hell Creek.

Did this for fun and test some new brush pens.

POLLEN STORM: PARASAUROLOPHUS IN THE MORNING
A Parasaurolophus in the early morning light of a pollen storm...

This was an exercise in lighting with pen & ink.

A WALK IN THE AZDARCHID...
The Azdarchid pterosaur, Alanqa, picks his way through pliosaur bones on the coastal mudflats of the Bahariya formation... Image from forthcoming book I was pretty happy with.

I was a "Navy Baby", born in Malta where my dad was stationed. Went to mixed comprehensive school, but dashed the hopes of parents by not going to University.

Instead, worked for a while in a research laboratory, where I showed a remarkable aptitude for genetic engineering. Then a twist of fate and a conveniently placed school friend got me a job at Marvel Comics.

Now been in or around that field for a long, long time. Now, I'm a senior comics editor working on such prestigious titles as The Simpsons and Transformers. I am also regularly confused with the Steve White who drummed for The Style Council, and Steve White, the sci-fi author.

I've also been called "The John Milius of Paleoart" which I take as a compliment.

I also have my very own Wikipedia page.

Hello. I've been looking through your pictures you've done of dinosaurs and they are just incredible. If you wouldn't mind, could you spare some advice on drawing them? I have one of a Centrosaurus on my page (sorry, I don't mean to plug) and would love some advice on it! Not fishing for compliments or anything, just desperately want to get better at drawing dinosaurs. Thanks!
